Treating Pain with Phytocannabinoids

“I am more convinced than ever that it is irresponsible to not provide the best care we can, care that often may involve marijuana. I am not backing down on medical marijuana; I am doubling down.”

— CNN’s chief medical correspondent, Dr.Sanjay Gupa MD

Open letter to doctors and health care providers:

Treating pain using phytocannabinoids isn’t a new idea but now it is a scientific fact. The use of CBDA (Cannabidiolic Acid) has been shown effective for the treatment of pain associated with various cancers and chemotherapy. You may be surprised to learn how this specific cannabinoid relieves pain due to inflammation, including severe pain.

According to Dr. Steven Trobiani, a board-certified neurologist in this video  https://vimeo.com/356774703/d34c70bb84 “No one over the age of 65 should be taking NSAID’s: i.e. Ibuprofen, Advil, Aleve, etc. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nonsteroidal_anti-inflammatory_drug

Why?

“Over the age of 65 the #7th leading cause of death is GI track bleeds, and NSAID’s are the primary cause of GI bleeds”

CBDA is an effective solution to NSAID’s.

Articles about the use of THC and CBD are well known but the big news is the remarkable effectiveness of CBDA. CBDA is one of many non-psychoactive constituents found in cannabis. Studies show that CBDA compounded with other cannabinoids is superior to THC and CBD for relieving pain due to inflammation while building the endocannabinoid system.

CBDA functions in four ways: (a) Releases COX-1, (b) Inhibits COX-2, (c) Inhibits TNFAlpha, (d) Releases interleukin-10. THC or CBD combined, do not have the same spectrum of effects as CBDA.

Extracted from raw cannabis, CBDA is not only safe and has a low cost but has proven exceptionally effective for reducing pain due to inflammation, without intoxication in the correct dosages.

Most importantly, its effects support a better quality of life without dangerous side effects. GW Pharmaceuticals, the leading developer of Phytocannabinoid medicine including Sativex® have published extensively about CBDA THC and CBD, and their role in maintaining the endocannabinoid system in all mammals. You can review these studies and U.S. patent information at GWpharm.com and CBDScience.com.

A CBDA compound is distributed by Alta Hemp Botanicals that is both Federally and State legal throughout The US territories. Alta Hemp Botanicals CBDA Tincture™ contains an approximate dosage of 10 mg/ml CBDA in an MCT oil base, for fast effective relief.
